As a photographer, every new commission brings a mix of excitement and anticipation. But when I was asked to photograph a little girl’s christening here in the beautiful South of France, I knew this would be a truly special experience. It was my first time documenting such an intimate and meaningful event, and I was eager to capture the pure joy and tender moments of the day.
The setting itself was straight out of a painting. The ceremony took place in a charming, ancient stone church, bathed in the soft, golden light that is so characteristic of this region.
