I’m absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to share some exciting news! One of my photographs has been chosen as the cover art for “ASA,” the latest thriller by the acclaimed author Zoran Drvenkar. Seeing my work grace the front of a book is always a tremendous honor, and this project was particularly special.

The cover features a portrait of my daughter, transformed into something truly unique through the magic of a double exposure. My goal was to infuse the image with an eerie, mysterious atmosphere, a mood I believe is perfectly suited for a psychological thriller like “ASA.” By carefully blending the delicate features of a human portrait with the stark, natural lines of a tree, I aimed to evoke a sense of the unknown, of secrets held within shadows, and the quiet intensity that often defines a compelling thriller narrative.

Creating that specific mysterious vibe was a deliberate choice. I wanted the image to draw viewers in, making them wonder about the story hidden beneath the surface, much like a good thriller hooks its readers. The subtle interplay of light and shadow, combined with the unexpected juxtaposition of human and nature, was key to achieving this unsettling yet captivating aesthetic.

This wonderful opportunity came about through my fantastic agency, Trevillion Images, based in London. Their incredible work in connecting photographers with publishers and authors continues to open doors for my creative endeavors, and I’m so grateful for their support.

As a photographer, there’s a unique satisfaction in knowing your work is helping to tell a story, to set the tone for a reader’s journey even before they’ve turned the first page. Each time one of my images appears on a book cover, it’s a profound reminder of the power of visual storytelling and a testament to the hours of passion and dedication poured into every shot.
